John Clune’s Profile

JohnJOHN CLUNE began practicing law in Southern California in 1994.  John specializes in personal injury litigation and business litigation.  John has successfully litigated hundreds of personal injury cases, on both the plaintiff and defense sides.  Mr. Clune now focuses his practice on representing people who have been injured in automobile and unsafe premises accidents.

Mr. Clune obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, magna cum laude, and graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1994. In college, Mr. Clune was recognized as the Outstanding Student in the Major of Political Science. In law school, John won the prestigious American Jurisprudence Award for Moot Court, and he was an editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly.

John lived in Spain for a year during college.  While growing up in San Diego, John spent his summers at his family’s house in Baja, Mexico.  John is proud to speak with his Spanish-speaking clients in their native language.  John, and his wife Tracy, live with their two sons in the Eastlake community, in Chula Vista California.  John coaches AYSO soccer, and Little League baseball.  In his free time, John plays guitar, and he is an avid surfer, travelling as far as Tavarua island, Fiji, to ride big waves.
